1 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)

8 slices of bacon, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup whole milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
