Walking Taco Casserole

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is fully cooked and the onion is translucent.
Add the green chilies, enchilada sauce, and cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is well combined.
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the ingredients in the following order:
A layer of Fritos corn chips
A layer of the meat mixture
A layer of shredded cheese
Repeat the layers if needed until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of shredded cheese on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serve the casserole in individual portions, topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream as desired.
