Upside-Down Cheesy Beef Cake

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Roll out your pie crust or puff pastry and place it in a greased 9-inch round cake pan, cutting off any extra hanging over the edge.

3. In a bowl, mix your ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pat the beef mixture evenly on top of the pastry in the pan.

4. Bake the beef and pastry base for about 15 minutes, then carefully pour off any excess grease.

5. In another bowl, combine your cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard until it’s all smooth.

6. Spread this cheesy mixture over the cooked beef in the pan.

7. Pop it back into the oven and bake for another 15 minutes or so, until the cheese is all bubbly and the pastry edges start to get a nice golden brown.

8. Let it cool for about 5 minutes, then flip it over onto a plate to serve, so it’s all “upside-down.”
