Timeless Cherry Dessert

Make the cream cheese mixture.

In a bowl, mix the soft cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Gently mix the whipped topping until it is fully incorporated. Put aside.

Make the Cherry Delight dessert.

Put half of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom of the graham cracker crust.

Include cherry filling.

Put the cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese layer, making sure to spread it out evenly.

Put the rest of the cream cheese mixture on top.

Gently spread the rest of the cream cheese mixture over the cherry pie filling, making sure it covers all the cherries.

Cool: Put the cherry dessert in the fridge and let it cool for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Serve: After cooling, cut the cherry dessert into portions and serve it cold.

Extra touch: You can put a spoonful of whipped cream on top of each piece before serving to make it even more special.

You can also add crushed graham crackers or chopped nuts on top for a different texture.
