This homemade bread is tastier than pizza! I’ll show you why

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
Dissolve the fresh yeast in lukewarm water.
Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, usually about 1-2 hours.
Make the Coating:
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat.
Crush the garlic cloves and add them to the oil.
Tear the fresh basil and parsley leaves and add them to the oil as well.
Let the herbs infuse in the oil for about 5-10 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside.
Assemble the Bread:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf or round bread, depending on your preference.
Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the infused olive oil mixture generously over the surface of the dough.
Optionally, sprinkle grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese on top and add a few olives for extra flavor.
Bake:
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until it turns golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
Serve:
Enjoy your homemade bread warm with your favorite dips or alongside soups and salads.
Your homemade bread is now ready to be enjoyed! Its aroma and taste will surely rival any pizza.
