Savory Chicken Pasta in a Creamy Parmesan Garlic Sauce

Directions:

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautรฉ for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, cooking until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy and thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, along with the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes if using. Stir to combine.
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and chicken until well coated.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
