For the Cheesecake Swirl:
8 oz cream cheese, softened 🧀
1/4 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1 large egg 🥚
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a medium bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter and granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.
3️⃣ Beat in the large eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
4️⃣ Sift in the unsweetened cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.
5️⃣ Pour the red velvet brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
6️⃣ In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the large egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated.
7️⃣ Dollop the cheesecake mixture over the red velvet brownie batter. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the cheesecake mixture into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.
8️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
9️⃣ Once cooled, slice into squares and enjoy the luscious combination of red velvet and creamy cheesecake in every bite!
