Combine all ingredients besides the cold water and cornstarch into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add in slurry made with cornstarch and water. Once thickened remove from heat.
I added sautéed peppers and onions, jerk seasoning and red pepper flakes to my rice.
I patted my pineapple dry and grilled on each side about 3-4 minutes over high heat on my grill
