Old-Fashioned Creamed Corn Casserole

 Preheat the Oven: Begin by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish.

 Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, and melted butter. Stir in the corn muffin mix until well combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole. Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. This will make it easier to slice and serve.
