My aunts used to whip this up, and I thought it was gone for good. But guess what? Found it, and it’s even yummier

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring for about 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
2. Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1 cup ice cubes to the mixture; stir until the ice cubes are completely melted.
3. Refrigerate the Jello mixture for about 20-30 minutes, or until it thickens to the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
4. Once thickened, use a whisk or an electric mixer to whip the Jello until frothy.
5. Fold in 1 cup of whipped cream or whipped topping until well blended.
6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups and refrigerate until firm, about 2-3 hours or overnight.
7. Serve chilled, garnished with additional whipped cream or fresh fruits if desired.
Variations & Tips

For a twist on this classic recipe, you may opt for flavored whipped creams such as coconut cream or berry flavored. A layer of crushed cookies or vanilla sponge cake at the base of your serving dish before pouring in the Jello whip adds a delightful texture. To make it festive, use a combination of Jello flavors by preparing them in layers, allowing each layer to set before adding the next.
