Hash brown casserole

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Spread the hash brown mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter until well combined.

Sprinkle the cornflake mixture evenly over the top of the hash brown mixture in the baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
