Crock Pot Philly Cheese Steak Casserole Recipe

Prepare the Ingredients:

Slice the beef round steak into thin strips if not pre-cut. Slice the green bell peppers and onion into thin strips as well.

Layer in the Crock Pot:

Place the sliced beef, green bell peppers, and onions in the Crock Pot. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour beef broth over the ingredients to help keep them moist and flavorful during cooking.

Cook:

Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The beef should be tender and the vegetables cooked through by the end of the cooking time.

Add Cheese:

Once the cooking time is complete, layer the slices of provolone cheese over the top of the beef and vegetables. Cover the Crock Pot again and allow the cheese to melt for about 15 minutes.

Prepare the French Fries:

If serving with French fries, cook them according to package instructions while the cheese is melting to have them ready to serve with the casserole.

Serve:

Serve the Philly cheese steak casserole hot, optionally over the crispy French fries for a complete meal.
