CROCK POT MISSISSIPPI PORK CHOPS

Optional step: sear pork chops for a couple minutes per side in a large skillet over medium high heat with some oil or a tablespoon of butter. (You do not need to cook the pork chops through, just sear to lock in extra flavor.)

Add pork chops to the bottom of a 5 quart or larger slow cooker.

Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasonings over the top of the pork chops.

Pour the pepperoncini juice around the pork chops if using.

Place pepperoncini peppers on and around pork chops.

Add the sliced butter pats on top of the pork chops.

Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or high for 1-2 hours, until the pork is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145F.

(Cooking time may vary depending on thickness of pork chops).

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

ENJOY!
