Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pie Filling

Braise onion in oil and butter until golden brown .
Add, bay leaves, cloves, garlic and thyme and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add chicken pieces, mushrooms, salt and pepper and cook for about 15 minutes. Add water as needed.
To bind your filling add the maizena mixture and cook for a further 5 minutes or so. Add milk and cream and cook until consistency you prefer.
Add more water if needed
Cool down and fill your pie.

Makes about 40 small pies.
