Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cubed
3/4 cup buttermilk, cold
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add buttermilk and stir until just combined.
Turn dough onto a floured surface, knead gently.
Roll out to 1-inch thickness, cut biscuits and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
