Best Snowball Cookies

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth.
Gradually mix in the flour, finely chopped pecans, and salt until completely incorporated.

Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place them 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
