Baked Apple Fritters

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Cut in the butter using a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, vanilla, and yogurt. Add to the flour mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chopped and shredded apples.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
In a small bowl, mix 1 cup powdered sugar and apple cider to make a glaze. Drizzle over cooled fritters.
Let set until glaze hardens, about 15 minutes
