Apple crisp bars

Delicious apple crisp bars with streusel topping are tasty and unbelievably easy, perfect for last minute company. Tart apples with a shortbread crust and a crisp topping, one of our favorite apple desserts.

Ingredients
For the base
▢¾ cup butter cut into ½-inch pieces.
▢2 cups all-purpose flour.
▢½ cup packed light brown sugar.
▢½ teaspoon salt.
For the filling:
▢4 large apples peeled and sliced.
▢½ tablespoon lemon juice.
▢2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour.
▢2 Tablespoons sugar.
▢1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
For the topping:
▢¾ cup all purpose flour.
▢¾ cup old fashioned oats.
▢¾ cup light brown sugar.
▢¾ teaspoon baking powder.
▢⅓ teaspoon ground cinnamon.
▢A dash of salt
▢½ cup unsalted butter cut into pieces.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300F.
