Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps

Make Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps
To start making the Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps get your skillet over medium heat and throw in a pound of ground beef with a chopped onion. Stir that around until it is cooked through and drain off any extra grease.

Season the ground beef mixture with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, and dried cilantro (or you can use a taco seasoning packet). Next, you’re going to pour in about 1/2 a cup of water and add in a tablespoon of minced garlic. Lower the heat and let that come to a simmer to thicken up while you gather the rest of the ingredients for the Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps.

To assemble the Crunch Wraps start by microwaving 4-5 of burrito sized flower tortillas so they are easier to work with. Next, you will add on your favorite sauce. We like to use the Spicy Ranchero or Chipotle Taco Bell sauce.

Then just add on a small handfull of shredded cheddar cheese and a big spoonful of the taco meat that we made earlier.
Then you’re just going to add a little pile of Doritos over the top of the beef and start building the second layer with a drizzle of sour cream, some shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes.

Finally to finish these off just grab one side of the extra grande burrito sized tortilla and bring it to the center to cover the filling. You will just repeat this process and pinch and fold the sides until you have a little tortilla hexagon.

The last step is to place your Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wrap seam side down into a skillet over medium heat, pressing down slightly to help seal the folds. Let that cook for a couple minutes on each side until it’s nice and golden brown and then repeat that process for the rest of your Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps.

Serve Cool Ranch Doritos Crunch Wraps
Serve with your favorite taco sauce and Enjoy! My family likes to dip these in taco sauce, guacamole, and some additional sour cream. They are also really good served with some fresh Pico de Gallo.

Tips and Frequently Asked Questions
You could use a pound of ground beef or a pound of cubed up chicken for this Crunch Wrap recipe.
You could use a tostada or any flavor of Doritos for the crunch factor on these.
You can use a taco seasoning packet in place of the seasonings I use, but we prefer this blend to the taco packet.
This is also an easy recipe to do on the griddle.
Make sure to buy the Extra Grande Burrito sized tortillas. These over sized tortillas make it easier to fold up and you don’t have to add an extra tortilla to the top.
