• ½ pound baby red potatoes, halved
• ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 1 bunch asparagus, cut into bite-size pieces
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1½ pounds sirloin or strip steak
